Bridge

The bridge evening on Wednesday 10 April started with the President welcoming two new members. Colin and Bev Cox of Tangiwai have been learning bridge from club Director Ron Martin. The winner of the mixed pairs evenings held over the last month was announced and congratulations go to Lynn Brannigan. The evening's bridge was played in a Howell movement consisting of 22 boards over six tables with the following results; 1st Les Burns and Ron Martin 56.24%; 2nd Ron Frew and Brian Eades 52.27%; 3rd Lauretta Eades and Tephany Bennett 50.56%; 4th Pauline Le Noel and John Eades 49.43%
