Raetihi culture group formed

AMaori culture club has started at the Raetihi School with 40 children from junior through to senior pupils learning about tikanga Maori. Kuia Emily Haitana and other interested parents are helping kaiarahi reo Collen Hansen and teacher Michael Te Tana with the group. Practices are being held each lunch hour while the children are learning new songs and actions. Once they know the songs practices will be once a week.
