Free shuttle bus for seniors
Each pension day Raetihi 's senior citizens have the chance of taking a courtesy bus to pick up their pension in Ohakune and to do a little shopping. The Nga Morehu O Uenuku Te Kohanga Reo ran the bus on a trial basis before Christmas and as it was so successful they are continuing this year as a service to the community. Any senior citizen who wishes may use this service can contact Edna Peni at the pensioner flats or the driver Robert Williams.
