Gardeners call meeting
The Garden club will be hosting the "Keep New Zealand Beautiful Society" at a meeting which will be held in the Staff room of the Ohakune Primary School. This will take place on Tuesday 26 March at 8 pm. All members of the public are welcome to attend, there will be a light supper served after the meeting plus the
usual raffles that the Garden club runs at their normal monthly meeting. The results for the Garden Competition held for club members only arejlst Peggy Frew, 2nd Bev Kerr and Ian Harrison, 3rd Kate Lourie. These gardens along with seven others were judged by members of the Raetihi Garden Club.
The Civic Pride Award winners are still to be advised but once this has been done the results will be published. Garden Club meets on the fourth Tuesday each month and new members are welcome. Anyone interested in coming along to a meeting can contact either Lauretta Eades or Ian Harrison for more information.
