Just one of the pieces of destruction which met teachers at the Ohakune Primary School on Sunday. Vandals had broken into rooms one to four and splattered paint across floors, walls, books, and children's art work. Police are keen to catch the culprits of the act that they described as wanton, frustrating vandalism. Teachers at the school said it is the first vandalsim the school has suffered in about five years, and that what was most angering was the destruction of children's work.
