Photographer in final

A local keen amateur photographer is in the finals for this year's Agfa Listener Time Frame Photographic Competition out of 15,000 entries in seven categories. Last week Jennifer Godfrey was notified that one of her entries was a finalist in the Listener Front Page category. One of the photos was of a lenticula cloud formation over Mt Ruapehu which she called "Before the Storm" and the

other, a shot of people sunning themselves on the deck Of a ferry called "Faces in the Sun'. Mrs Godfrey does not know which one made the final. As a finalist Mrs Godfrey has been invited to the Awards Ceremony at the Aotea Centre in Auckland on 23 March to mark the launch of the exhibition of winners' work. Mrs Godfrey and husband Richard are going to the exhibition to look at the standard of photography.
