Raetihi playgroup started
This year the Raetihi Playcentre has started a play group on Tuesday morning. This is for any parents with preschool children who would like to drop in and, meet other parents and have a friendly chat. Parents are welcome to come along any Tuesday
morning and as often as they would like. If parents would like their children to attend any other sessions then the parents need to attend three introductory talks which explain how the playcentre works, who is involved and why. Children are then enrolled and are allowed to attend up to five ses-
sions a week. These are on a Tuesday afternoon and in the mornings the other days of the week. Parents who wish to come to just the play group do not need to become playcentre members. At present there are up to 12 parents and children attending the play group.
