Parents cook for cowboys

Catering at this year's two-day rodeo is being done by the Raetihi School PTA. It is their main fund raising event this year. The job means providing continuous meals starting with breakfast about 6.30am for the riders, through to a hangi tea. As well as having cooked breakfast there will be sandwiches, pies, sausage sizzle and steak sandwiches to feed riders, workers and public. The hangi is being put down by Chris Winter and the Catering and Food presentation Access module are preparing the vegetables for this. Parents are working in two-hour shifts throughout the two days.
