Bowls class

Sam Condon plays bowls to learn Maori at the Ohakune Bowling Club last week. The Ruapehu College fiffth former was taking part in Mrs Merillyn George's Te Reo Maori ciass, which she has taken outdoors to add interest for the pupils. Mrs George said it was much more interesting for the pupils to be able to use the language in an activity than just in the classroom.
