Women meet to pray

A service was held in St Patrick's Church in Raetihi on Friday 1 March to participate in the World Day of Prayer. This day is celebrated by many Christian denominations in 170

countries and is unique in that it is organised by lay women, The women of Kenya had prepared the order of worship with the theme "On the journey together". In Raetihi 10

women rrom five denominations took part. They shared singing, movement, drama, prayer and praise. The special occasion is always held on the first Friday in March.
