Members who were rejoining the bridge club this year were acknowledged by President Betty Hammond at the club's last meet and also welcomed back to the club was Bernie Vella who has recently returned to Ohakune. Heckling of Ron Frew and Brian Eades before the start of play was firmly silenced at the end of play when they were five points ahead to take first place in the NorthSouth division. Rita Kaiwhare and Betty I Hammond regained their good form to take EastWest for the second week in a row. Results 20 February. North- South: Ron (Frew and Brian Eades j 70.83%. Mark Hays and !Bob Tumataroa 46.53%: East-West: Rita Kaiwhare and Betty Hammond 62.50%. Pauline Le Noel and Les Burns 52.78%
