Ohakune bowls winners

The Ohakune Women's Bowling club champion of championships fours were successful in winning a very tight final in the championship fours recently. The final result was a draw so 21 ends had to be played again. They went into the last end at 18- a all. The team won with four shots on the last end. The team was V. Brown (skip), J. Foster (3), E. Allerby.(2), C. Mcleod (lead). A. Nation played in the open singles and made it to the last eight. Monday the A and B team pairs were to travel to Wanganui and the intermediate and senior singles.
