Raetihi's newest teacher is Bridget Herffernan from Middlemarch in central Otago.She is a first year teacher having graduated from the Dunedin College of Education last year. The move to Raetihi was to fit in well for Bridget she said, as her partner who is a soldier, was recently transferred to Waiouru. She said she was pleased to be in Raetihi as she wanted to stay in a country area as "country kids are nicer".
