Photography exhibition

From page 7 short period on display at the Air Force Museum in Christchurch, the Collection has been in storage. The 220 photographs which comprise the exhibition have been selected from approximately 10,000 photographs Beaton took during World War II. They consist mainly of photographs taken on the Home Front during 1940 and 1941, and on his visits to the Middle East, Burma, and China between 1942 and 1944. The Cecil Beaton Collection will remain on display at the Army Museum until mid-1991.
