Three survive accident
Three Wellington people were lucky to be alive let alone suffer just minor injuries when thcir car left the road North of the Banana Bridge on the Parapara Highway on the moming of 1 January. The car, travelling south, left the road above the bridge and slid and rollcd about 70 metres down a bank. The car was written off, said Police. Police said alcohol was involved in the accident and charges would bc laid as a result of the accident. Police would like to talk to the passing motorist who picked up the thrce people and took them to Waimarino Health Care Centre, as well as anyone who may have seen the accident.
