Call for Waimarino to de-amalgamate
Waimarino should break away from the Ruapehu District. That's according to the majority of people at last Monday night's inaugural Waimarino Ratepayers Association meeting at the Waimarino Club in Raetihi.
The opinion was not unanimous, with a small but strong voice calling for caution in pushing for a return to a Waimarino District Council. The meeting was called to form a Waimarino Ratepayers Association after an earlier meeting of ratepayers who were
