Carols in Raetihi

Taihape's Arcadian Singers will present a service of Christmas Carols starting 8pm on Thursday 13 December at the Rally Hall in Raetihi. The service will include traditional carols as well as some different ones such as an old English Sussex carol, a negro spiritual, the Hym for New Zealand 1990, Te Harinui by Willow Mackay and Season of the Flowers which is an adaptation for Australasia's style of Christmas (to the tune of Holly and the Ivy) Marie O'Leary will sing a solo 15th century carol "Lullay My Liking". A supper will follow the service.
