Mill to operate thorugh Xmas
Winstone International's Karioi Pulp Mill will operate right through Christmas this year. In past years the mill
has shut down for up to three days over Christmas with maintenance work carried out. But mill manager Dave Anderson said enough staff had volunteered to keep
the mill operating this year. He said a maintenance shutdown would be carried out later in the year when it suited the production schedule better.
