The Cracker returns

Tom thumbs have dissappeared this year but not for local salesperson and Mowtown dealer Marty Mc Grath on Guy Fawkes night. When a friend and local hairdresser decided to clean up the remaining rocket shells off the lawn and dispose of them in the nearby Kent, Marty happened to be sitting warming himself. It so happened that one of those empty shells wasn't so empty and exploded with an almighty bang expelling smoke and yellow flames out of the Kent vents into the room leaving Marty white with fright, a heart rate too high to measure and yes, believe it or not, extremely lost for words.

Things get a little lose for some skifield workers towards the end of a long season, but not knot tying for the maintenance crew who kidnapped Ski Patroller Caroline Giles and lashed her to the nine kilometre bridge (don't say poor girl - she looks like she's enjoying it!) Carroline also deserves a mention for finding out she was low on petrol near Horopito, tuming around and racing back to town as fast as she could before the petrol ran out! This gossip is brought to you by American Nasal Sprays - the good things up your nose.
