Raetihi pupils' talent quest results

Seniors: 1st place went to the miming act of "Bridget the Midget" starring Bridget Graves with the cast of Laurissa Sommerville, Sina Cotter, Gisela Bauers, Ricky Vaughn, Aaron Kairimu and Cherilee Bishop. Second place was shared by three acts, the "Rap Dance" with the star performer Peter Wikohika and his dancIng troupe Larrissa Green, Gisela Bauers, Raema Mowatt and Amanda Te Huia; The Huia' performed by Janina Hawira, Gloria Peni and Rora Cribb; 'Aerobics New Zealand Style' Larrissa Sommerville and Bridget Grave. Third place was also a tie shared by Sarah Bennett playing the piano and Natasha Mitchell and Tania

Clarke doing a song and dance mime from the movie "Grease." Middle school placings were: 1st place, 'Can Can' dancer performed by Margaret Mowatt, Tai Cotter and Eileen Voon. Second prize went to Amy Cranston who played 'Chariots of Fire' and 'Spanish Eyes' on the organ. Third prize went to "Barry Crump" alias Christopher Bennett in a commercial miming act. The Junior placings were: 1st prize, Luke Cranston playing "Amazing Grace' and 'Silent Night' on the organ. 2nd prize, with "Peanut Play" went to Kirsten Price and Kathryn Summerhays. 3rd prize for a reading of poems went to Stacy Williams, Rebbecca McLean and Megan Price.
