Colours presented to Army officer cadets
The Officer Cadet School of New Zealand will be presented its Queen's and Regimental colours by the Governor General, Sir Paul Reeves at a special parade today, at 1.30pm at the Waiouru Army Training Group camp Last night the Beating of the Retreat/1812 Overture was held as part of the ceremony. "It is a very significant event for the New Zealand Army and the respective Chiefs of Staff from each branch of the armed forces will be present," said education officer Major P Johnston.
