Badminton tournament a success

The Ohakune badminton club held its first ever open toumament on Saturday 1 September. With players from Wanganui, Palmerston North, Taihape and Taumarunui, there were some good tough games played. Some members did quite well. Some of the results were; Ken Young runner up A Res Singles, (a bit unlucky as he battled the game out for over an hour and was leading 14-10 in the third set with one point to go to win but his body cramped up).
