$15000 for Telethon!

"I am proud to have been able to orchestrate the Waiouru Satelite Telethon fundraising, and the centre administration", said organiser Bobby Vine after the weekend effort. It was proved that the Army Museum is an excellent venue and all went very well. "The only thing missing was the excitement and enthusiasum of people from the W aiouru/W aimarino District to come in and join the filming and centre team. "Yes, there was a lack of local enteraiment, but a large 40 inch TV unit made the event even bigger and better."
