PUBLIC NOTICES its w DRAFT ANNUAL PLAN Under the provisions of Section 223D of the Local Government Act 1974 the Council is required to prepare an annual report which sets out for the current financial yearthe intended policies and objectives of the Council The Plan also contains information about the money that will be spent and where the money comes from. TELETHON UPDATE: WAIOURU WARD Because of a colourful Waiouru Primary School response to the 1990 pre telethon promotional buildup, NZ will see Waiouru on television. This sixty second screening is to be shown on T.V.2 at approximately 7pm 22 August 1990. The theme is based on a large range of posters and paintings which will remain displayed within the NZ Army Museum for the remainder of August. Activities thus far have raised a known amount in the order of $1 ,470.00 through two active venues, the Oasis Hotel and Waiouru R.S.A., manythanks. Most of our active clubs should have received a letter asking for pre telethon fundraising assistance. To date only two Waiouru Clubs have confirmed their support and their fundraising activities, they are the Waiouru Golf Club and the Drifters Basketball team.
