Ohakune street signs that were damaged by vandals during the past month were replaced by Ruapehu District Council staff last week. Councillor Bruce Thompson said the
signs are temptmg to vandals because of their light structure and the fact that they are accessible from ground level. He recommended that placing the signs higher in future be looked at.
