Waimarino golf

A very small field of dedicated people braved the worst conditions of the year on Sunday to show that true golfers really have balls. Senior 1st prize went to N. Cranston with 36 points, with D. Windle 2nd followed by P. Goldfinch 3rd. In the junior division Sam Arahanga defied conditions to come home with 40 points. A great round of golf in such conditions. T. Oliver and M. Steel were second with 29 points. and J. Mcllroy with 27. The only two of the day was scored by T. Donghi. Sponsors for the day were Buck's Drapery and Images Hair Salon. The Presidents Team scored a great win over Belmont to move into the finals.
