Daffodil theme for cancer fund raising day

Daffodil Day is coming up - 22 August - a day to contribute to the New Zealand Cancer Society. Thisyear the society is trying Daffodil Dav

for the first time in the central New Zealand area (Kaikoura to Taupo). If successful it will go nation-wide next year. The daffodil has been chosen as a symbol of spring - and hope being on the way. The Cancer Society is hoping to get more positive about dealing with cancer. Special events around 22 August will be encouraged with the daffodil as theme. 0800 802 190 is a freephone number to call if you've got ideas to help or if you want information.
