Indoor bowls
The Ohakune Indoor Bowling Club recently held its second successful four weeks bowling tournament which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The bowling club thanks Dave Scott and Wanganui Motors, and Berrys Bookshop for donating prizes. As the last night of bowls was the beginning of celebrations for Lotto's 3rd birthday, Berrys handed out some spot prizes of lotto tickets and scratch kiwis. Iris Reid for the oldest gun in the west,
the milk vendors for the noisiest team, Trustbank for making their mark, the Foster parents for being married so long. The overall winners for the four weeks being unbeaten: lst Berrys Bookshop: J. Schrier, S. Columb, P. Berry, M. Berry (Wanganui Motors Prize). 2nd Trustbank: M. Clements, J. Drinkwater, J. Foster, D. Summerhays. (Berrys Bookshop Prize) Booby Prize - Karioi Netball Club. Raffle was won by P. LeNoel and M. Clements.
