Stock sale support
A livestock auction Thursday 19 July was well supported by local farmers, said stock agent for Waimarino Livestock, Bully Chambers. The sale was held at Mr Chambers' property, who said 26 different vendors attended and 280 cattle and 1302
sheep sold. Prices included $554 for Angus cows (running with bull), $752 for top rising two-year-old Simmental steers, $29.20 for good shorn wether lambs to $7.50$14 for light conditioned mixed aged shorn wethers.
