BROADCAST COMMUNICATIONS LIMJTED IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR RESIDENTS WITHIN THE AREA SERVED BY THE RAETIHI TV2 TRANSLATOR. BROADCAST COMMUNICATIONS LTD, and TVNZ advise viewers in the Raetihi area that, on 18 July (subject to favourable weather conditions), significant changes will be made to the TV2 translator serving the Raetihi area. The work is expected to take 6 hours to complete, during which period the TV2 service will be switched off. -The TV2 service will be changed from channel 10 to channel 11. This change is required to permit the introduction of TV3 transmissions to the Taranaki area in August. FOR INFORMATION ON ADJUSTMENTS REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN THE TV2 SERVICE, PLEASE SEE THE INFORMATION FOUND ELSEWHERE IN THIS ISSUE OF THE RUAPEHU BULLETIN or contact your TV Serviceman. An advice service will be available from Broadcast Communications Ltd, Woodville, on (0650) 48-811 between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm from the 17th of July 1990. Both TVNZ and TV3 regret an inconvenience to viewers in the area served by the Raetihi TV translator.
