Ski movie at King's Theatre
A special premier of a 90-minute ski movie is to be held in Ohakune this week. The King's Theatre will be screening the new Warren Miller movie "White Magic". The evening will be followed by a free function at the Powderhorn Ski Shop where there will be displays of ski equipment, door prizes including ski gear, magazines, ski accessories plus lift passes supplied by Turoa Skifields. There will also be complimentary refreshments. The screening has been organised by New Zealand Skier magazine plus a variety of national sponsors. All who attend the screening can complete a door prize card giving them free access to the Powderhorn function and a chance to win three pairs of K2 skis, to be drawn at the end of the screening season in mid-August.
