Mrs Susan Wells and her daughter Natasha from Murrays Bay, Auckland grabbed a cuddle from the Turoa Yeti recently. Turoa is enjoying a ski season that started almost two months earlier than last year, with good snow cover low down, especially on the Alpine Meadow and Wintergarden platters. The T bars need more snow yet before a track can be formed.
