Bowls

Ihe Ohakune Indoor Bowling Club held a four week tournament recently to boost interest in the sport. Eigh-

tcen teams were entered with most people never having played bowls before. It was such a success that another toumament will be held starting 2nd July. Bowls are played every Monday night at 6.45 or Sunday at 1.30 for all those interested, this is a game for young and old. Winners of this tournament were: Berry's Bookshop 1st (Dinner for four), Skier's Inn runners up (Towel Set), Milk Vendors (Special Prize).
