The successful partnerships from the Ohakune Club Night 13 June were as follows: North-South lst Ron Frew and Brian Eades 66%, 2nd Gail Imhoff and Jim Cranston 50%. East - West lst Sarah Hamlin and Les Burns 60% 2nd Ron Martin and Tephany Bennett 57%. North-South played 25 boards and EastWest played 20 boards. On the 8 June several „ Ohakune members travelled to Wanganui to participate in an Epsom Pairs Tournament. The most successful of these were John Eades and Gordan Mottram who attained 14th place with 50.2%. The winning Wanganui partnership scored 69%.
