Coberger skier of the year
Annelise Coberger takes over from Simon Wi Rutene as Mitsubishi Motors New Zealand Skier of the Year, for 1990. The 18 year old from Christchurch is the first New Zealand skier to win a world championship medal after she finished third in the world junior championships in Switzerland. Her world ranking in the slalom has moved up 73 places from last year to 86th. She won the New Zealand slalom title last year at Whakapapa.
