College soccer tops
Ruapehu College are back on top of the Ruapehu Press League after defeating Taumarunui 42 on Sunday. It was a close game, but the young team edged ahead in the second half. The half-time score was 1-1. Other results in the league were Hautu 3, Cadets 5, Rangipo 3, Turangi 9, Celtics bye. College travel to Turangi this weekend to play second placed Turangi Wanderers. This game will be crucial in determining final placings in the league. Both teams are in fine form and this should be one of the better games' of the season.
