Tank to be blasted, painted
The ex-army tank in Jubilee Park opposite the Ohakune Library is to get a facelift. Volunteers headed by engineer Graham Dixon are to remove rusted and sharp objects plus waterblast and paint the tank in a further effort to upgrade the safety and general tidiness of the children's playground equipment. The council accepted the offer of help from Mr Dixon, agreeing to provide the necessarv materials. costin? $450
