SLOGAN COMPETITION DOES NOT APPEAL

Response to the Ruapehu District Council's regional slogan competition has been poor, with just two public submissions and three submissions put forward by councillors. To encourage people to enter, a prize to the value of $100 has been donated by Taumarunui pharmacy, Clayton and Hayes. The prize winner will be announced at the Council's May meeting next week, with the presentation made at next month's meeting.
