RANGATAUA DOMAIN CONTROL TO TRANSFER

One way or another the Rangataua Domain and hall with probably come under the administration of the Ruapehu District Council, said Department of Conservation officer Lisle Irwin last Thursday. He said the department, which is responsible for the domain in the interim, had asked the Local Government Association if the domain could be added to the list of authorities under the control of the council. If it could not be, then there are provisions in the relevant act to transfer control, though Mr Irwin said this process would take longer.
