FASTERS QUICK TO FIND AID SPONSORS
Friday next week is World Vision's annual 40 Hour Famine relief fundraising event and already last week children were but filling in their sponsorship cards. The Famine, a 40 hour fast, starts at 8pm on Friday 23 March. Younger' fasters will go without food for 20 hours. Last year's Famine raised $1.94 million and World Vision aims to top that. Child survival projects around the world, with emphasis on clean water, immunisation, primary health care and improved nutrition being the target for the money.
