A&P ENTRIES STILL OPEN

Entries in the Waimarino A&P Show Float Parade are still open, with just eight vying for the first prize of $400 as at last Thursday. Entries so far include one representing Bennett and Punch - the first timber millers in the area, the Waimarino Rodeo Association have entered as have the Raetihi Fire Brigade, the Ohakune School, Waimarino Deerstalkers, Ohakune Fire Brigade, Ohakune Kindergarten, Raetihi Plunket. One of the event organisers, Mrs Dorothy Battersby said no firms have yet entered but there were a few considering it.
