Auto engineers pass the test

BY

Donna

McGrath

binal examination results mean an end to years of study for three Raetihi automotive engineers this year, who are qualifying in trade and A grade certificates. Raymond Ellis and Craig Wiggins were awarded passes in trade certificate and Shayne Meyer qualified for A grade. All three automotive engineers have completed their apprenticeships at H.E. Webbs and hope to carry on in the trade. ' During their apprenticeship the boys sat 20 correspondence assignments annually for three years and attended several three-week block courses in Palmerston North or Wellington. As the boys look

back on their time spent learning they can laugh about their mistakes both minor and "disastrous". They now look ahead to new challenges, experience and - higher wages!
