RUAPEHU-WANGANUI TRIATHLON HAS BACKERS

The Mountains to the Sea three-day triathlon, from Ruapehu to Wanganui, is to run again this year's Labour Weekend thanks to support from the 1990 Commission, the Tourist and Publicity Department and Country Life Outdoor Stores. The 287km cycle, running and canoeing race was run in 1987 as part of the national parks centennial with about 250 entrants. This year's race will be limited to 330 cpmpetitors as individuals or three person teams.
