w ARMED FORCES CANTEEN COUNC1L WAIOURU AGI Powles Avenue Phone 56-111 Ext. 7703 FOODMASTER SUPERMARKET OPERATION Would customers please note the change in location of the AGI Foodmaster Supermarket. As from the 3rd January this year the Supermarket has been relocated at the Queree Drive premises of the AGI, known as the Family Fare Superette in the Shopping Centre. This move will enable the AGI to provide a more comprehensive display of furniture and home appliances in the area that the Supermarket previously operated. The decision to consolidate the grocery operation at one premises was made simply because it had become impossible to operate two outlets competitively and as a consequence this resulted in a lack of support at both outlets by customers. The AGI apologises for and regrets any inconvenience this decision may have caused. However prices now charged at the Superette are generally lower due to the Supermarket price structure being applied as opposed to the higher Dairy prices applied in the past. Customers may note in the short term two prices shown on certain items. In all cases and at all times the lower price will be charged. There is absolutely no truth in the rumour that two price levels will be applied, one during week days, one during weekends. THE LOWER PRICE WILL APPLY 7 DAYS PER WEEK. The AGI Cafeteria in Powles Avenue will provide a larger range of basic groceiy items and confectioneiy than has been the case in the past and a limited range of similar items will be available from the variety area in the AGI for defence personnel who do not always have access to the Queree Drive premises. ALL OTHER AGI DEPARTMENTS WILL CONTINUE OPERAT1NG AS NORMAL FROM THE POWLES AVENUE BUILDING. In the meantime it would be greatly appreci- | ated if customers would bear with us as we H work through the inevitable teething probl lems that will result from this move. G.S. WORKMAN MANAGPB
