OHAKUNE RAILWAY AREA ROAD EYESORES
Negotiations should be undertaken between the Ruapehu District Council and New Zealand Railways for the upgrading of Railway Road and the Ohakune Railway Station approaches, as they are an eyesore. This recommendation has been made to the council by the Waimarino Community Board. In another recommendation the board called for the Area Health Board to share the costs of upgrading the Raetihi hospital hill road.
