Watch out for the fruit muffins at Ohakune's brand new coffee shop - you're liabie to fall off the end of one. The Coffee Shop, as it is most simply named, is next to Cedar Service Station and is run by Sheryle with help from Rex. The pair might be new to this site but they're not new to the business, having run Rex's place at the Junction for three years and the Alpine Cafe on Turoa for about six years before that. This timo they'll be open 12 months of the year, with Sheryle running The Coffee Shop and Rex the takeaways. Without "blowing their own trumpet" they did admit to making all the cafe food on the premises.
