GREAT RABBIT ROUNDUP

Ohakune scone-grabber shepherds Sue Kumeroa and Yvonne Trigell iyere spotted shepherding (or trying to) another kind of charge recently - the kindy kids' pet rabbits ran rampant through the neighbouring school grounds (imagine the terror!). The two were spotted stalking the furry one for quite some time, in the process providing entertainment for a primary school class and teacher. Seems the older kids were greatly amused to see the two women, time after time, creeping closer to the bunny only to have it hop a few skips and jumps out of reach. The kids (and their teacher) missed their chance to applaud the rabbit rounduppers as they herded the beast back into the kindy grounds, out of sight.
