OHAKUNE DISTRICT COURT
George Tamahana Wikohika, 24, unemployed of Raetihi, was to have appeared for sentence on several charges for offences committed over an extended period and to
which he had pleaded guilty at last month's hearing. His counsel at the hearing, Mr Paul Brown, told the court that he had not heard from his client since
then and therefore sought permission to withdraw from the case. This request was granted. A warrant for arrest of the defendant was then issued.
