OHAKUNE EX-MAYOR IN TAUMARUNUI PROMOTIONS GROUP
Former Ohakune writer, mayor and principal Bill Taylor has been nominated to join a Taumarunui development group - Taumarunui Development Incorporated. The group is made up from the Taumarunui Resource and Development Committee of the old Taumarunui Borough Council, and it was decided to form an incorporated society because it had lost the chance for a large government grant because of its council association. Mr Taylor, one of six public nominees for the group. now lives at Raurimu.
