Paul Howell (Waiouru Bobcats) has been selected into the New Zealand Rugby League U/19 'Elite Squad'. Paul currently is a representative player for Manawatu as half back. He is also the " provincial top point scorer. Along with Anthony Farmer (Kiwi U/19) and captain Wayne Longley, they have been selected to attend a New Zealand national training camp for top players and coaches in Palmerston North. The Waiouru Rugby League is commencing preseason training for the 1990 season on Wednesday 29 November 1989 at 6pm Patterson Field. The 1990 Waiouru Rugby League Club management committee were recently elected: Patron, Lt Colonel P.J. McDonald; Chairman, Major W.J. Skilton; Deputy Chairman, Captain R Hart; Treasurer, Mrs Elaine Ewens; Secretary WOl C.J. Fremlin. For further information contact Wayne Longley telephone 56-111 extension 7390.
